Claire Underwood is the lady attraction to the drama, being portrayed as strong women who can leave no stones unturned for her rights. She runs an environmental non-profit organization, in the beginning, and kicks out her whole team for some strong societal gains and fights with anybody who comes in her path, be it her mother or her husband themselves.
The character on-screen is portrayed by Robin Wright, who too is a golden globe award recipient and one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. She has also done many famous movies like The girl with a dragon tattoo, Everest and played the role of Wonder Woman.
Claire Underwood is from the exclusive Highland Park in Dallas, Texas and her father is a former Republican. She studies at Radcliffe College when she meets Frank, a Harvard graduate and falls in love with him but her mother strongly opposes their affair. She has a horrifying past which tries to overcome with her wit and bold nature.
After Kevin Spacey's arrest, she took the center stage and also in the final season became the President of the United States, and changes back to her maiden name Claire Hale.
